With Lupus Disease people will see many different types of skin sores. Lupus is very common disease in todays world. But the issue with Lupus is that people around you can’t really tell how sick you are inside. The only disease that is more common than Lupus is arthritis.

Lupus seems to affect more women than men, because of the role of Estrogen in women. There are only 10% of males who develop Lupus Disease. Many women who have Lupus are concerned about their families and if they could pass this disease on them, but the good news is that 98% of these women with kids will not develop Lupus.

There are 3 types of Lupus. One is called Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, which is the type that people usually refer to, because it is the most serious type. The second type is called Discoid Lupus, which causes a rash to develop on a person’s skin, which can cause serious scaring. However, this type is very rare. The third type is called a Drug Induced Lupus, which is caused by bad reactions to certain medicines, such as anti-seizure medicine. If the side effects rise, stop taking your drugs and consult with your doctor.

Lupus Symptoms
are so various that doctors treat each symptom with a variety of drugs which are for the effects of the other symptoms that are taking place. Physician can prescribe you some anti-inflamatory steroids which will help stop the immune system from making these unhealthy cells, but these drugs should be used only if everything else fails.
